A master reset (factory reset) restores the original factory settings and erases all user data (including settings and downloaded content) stored in the phone’s internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available).
Note: If the handset is locked, frozen, or unresponsive, you can perform a master reset using the hardware keys instead of the menu.
To perform a master reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:
-
Back up all necessary data. See: Preparing for a master reset on Android.
-
Turn off the phone.
-
Note: If the phone is unresponsive and does not turn off, remove the battery and then re-insert it.
-
-
Simultaneously press and hold the Qwerty F and Qwerty A keys.
-
While continuing to hold the Qwerty F and Qwerty A keys, add the Volume Down (Volumen Abajo) key.
-
While holding the Qwerty F, Qwerty A and Volume Down key, press the Power/Lock key.
-
After you see the LG logo wait at least 10 seconds, then release all of the keys.
-
The Android Unpacking screen will appear, indicating the master reset is in progress.
-
The phone will automatically restart and complete the factory reset.
Wow!! then we are all set, wasn’t that easy??
